On Jan. 23, 2015, Klay Thompson set an NBA record for points in a quarter with 37 points in the third period of a 126-101 over the Sacramento Kings at Oracle Arena in Oakland. The 24-year-old guard shot 13-for-13 in the quarter, including an NBA record nine 3-pointers.
